The United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) has announced that 2023 was another record year for transplants, with 46,632 transplants made possible by the generosity of organ donors. There were 27,329 kidney transplants in the US, the most ever. That number includes 6,288 kidneys from living donors. The year also saw 812 kidney and pancreas combined transplants.
We're grateful for the selfless Gift of Life given by so many wonderful individuals and donor families, as well as the skill and passion of the transplant community.
