History

The Kidney Foundation of Western New York was established in 2015 to address two related areas of need: community awareness and patient support. We work to raise community awareness of kidney disease, increase knowledge of risk factors, and provide information on prevention and treatment. For people with kidney disease, our role includes patient support and advocacy, offering information on health care options, and assisting with emergency financial, nutritional or transportation needs.

Our service area includes Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans and Wyoming counties.

Mission

The Kidney Foundation of WNY is dedicated to increasing community awareness of kidney disease and other related diseases while educating and improving the lives of those we serve.
