Jeff Stolzenburg Legacy Award

This award is named in honor of the late Jeff A. Stolzenburg, a former director with Freed Maxick Sachs & Murphy, and a 1980 graduate of Niagara University.  During his 20-year accounting career, Jeff was actively involved in a number of professional organizations, his local community, and his church.

Jeff received a kidney transplant from his brother in 1991. This experience inspired him to become increasingly involved  in promoting the efforts of the Kidney Foundation. He served as president of the National Kidney Foundation of Western New York. Jeff was instrumental in raising awareness and generating financial support for the organization. It is in his memory that we present this award to an organization or individual that exemplifies Jeff’s spirit of commitment to helping others and improving Western New York.
